Celebrating Our Success: Cranbrook Arrows Netball Club Receives Grant from Cranbrook Town Council

We are thrilled to announce that back in April, Cranbrook Arrows Netball Club was awarded a grant of £410 from Cranbrook Town Council! This funding was instrumental in helping us enhance our club’s facilities and resources, ensuring that we continue to provide an excellent environment for our members to train and compete.

Acknowledging Cranbrook Town Council's Support

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cranbrook Town Council for their generous support. This grant enabled us to replace worn-out equipment and purchase additional items to accommodate our growing membership and coaching team. Specifically, we acquired new match balls, training bibs, a scoreboard, coaches' folders, and other essential equipment that significantly improved our training sessions and match experiences.

What This Meant for Our Club

The grant allowed us to:

- Upgrade our training environment: With new and improved equipment, our training sessions became more effective and enjoyable for all members.

- Support our growing membership: As our club expanded, the new resources helped us welcome more players and provide them with the necessary tools to succeed.

Since our inception eight years ago, Cranbrook Arrows Netball Club has grown from a small back-to-netball group into a thriving club with four competitive teams. Our membership has doubled in the past few years, reflecting the increasing popularity of netball in our community. This grant not only supported our immediate needs but also aligned with our long-term goals of advancing to regional leagues and establishing a junior section.

This project directly benefited our community by providing better training resources, which helped elevate our performance and encouraged more people to participate in netball. Improved resources also enabled us to reinvest in our members by offering coaching and umpiring courses, thereby raising the standard of netball within our club and the wider Cranbrook area.
